First aid
We have a long track record in providing first aid education and are known in Belgium as the go-to expert in first aid. We ‘export’ our extensive national expertise and evidence-based way of working: evidence-based guidelines & teaching materials, strengthen our local sister Red Cross national societies, and invest in their establishment of a first aid business as a means to ensure their first aid department’s financial independence.

Since we are very active in the field of First Aid, The Global First Aid Reference Center is an important intermediary for us to reach out to the wider world and the scientific community dealing with First Aid, e.g. through the publication of our International First Aid Guidelines.
